Accept and Expend FDEP Volkswagen Diesel Emissions Mitigation Grant Funds for Garbage Trucks
The Commission unanimously authorized accepting up to $725,000 in state grant funding under the Volkswagen diesel emissions mitigation program. The funds will be used to purchase three Class 4–7 garbage trucks, reducing diesel emissions from the City's waste management fleet. The City Manager was authorized to accept and expend the funds.
