TPD Headquarters Construction/Northwood Master Planning Update and Sheridan Performing Arts Center Negotiation
The Commission unanimously accepted a staff update on TPD headquarters construction and the Northwood site master plan. The City Manager was authorized to negotiate an agreement with the Sheridan Foundation for placement of a performing arts center on the Northwood site, including potential use of a full four-acre parcel. A follow-up agenda item will be brought back for final Commission approval.

“Accept the staff update on the demolition, design, and construction activities associated with the TPD headquarters building project and the master planning process for the remainder of the Northwood site and authorize the City Manager to negotiate an agreement with The Michael H. Sheridan and Judy W. Sheridan Center for placement of the Performing Arts Center on the Northwood site. The final agreement will be summarized in a follow-up agenda item and presented to the City Commission for consideration and approval. Additionally, to include the request for the use of the full four-acre site by the Sheridan Foundation in the negotiations.”
