Propose Affordable Housing Discussion at Blueprint IGA Budget Workshop and Potential City Poverty Workshop
The Commission unanimously approved directing the City to raise affordable housing options—funded through economic development funds—at the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency Board's August 24, 2023 budget workshop. If warranted after that discussion, a separate City workshop on poverty-related issues would be scheduled. All five commissioners voted in favor.
