Brownfields Program Update and Designation of Lake Bradford/Springhill Road Area as Brownfield
The Commission accepted a staff update on the City's Brownfields Program and voted to dissolve the Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund Coalition Loan Review Committee. Staff was directed to begin the process of formally designating a portion of the Lake Bradford Road and Springhill Road commercial corridor as a state Brownfield Area. A public commenter raised concerns about environmental gentrification and the impact on renters. The vote was unanimous.
