Ordinance 22-O-29: Memorandum of Agreement for Police Benevolent Association (PBA)
The Commission approved memoranda of agreement with the Police Benevolent Association for police officer and sergeant/lieutenant bargaining units covering Plan C and Plan D pension plans, including a clarification that a lump sum benefit is paid to a named beneficiary if an officer killed in the line of duty is unmarried. The Commission also introduced Ordinance 22-O-29 to bring the City Code into conformance with the agreements, with a public hearing set for October 26, 2022.
